A little bit about me

I am a yoga practitioner who believes movement, meditation, and somatic practice are how we come home to our most authentic selves. My relationship with yoga ebbed and flowed over two decades of practice, but whenever I returned to my mat I returned to myself. In January of 2024, amid significant life transformation, I turned to the 200-hour YTT at JP Centre Yoga.  Over the course of 5 months, I deepened my connection to all eight limbs of yoga, and unlocked my passion for being a guide for others to drop into themselves. I also completed an additional 35-hour Restorative Hands on Assist training, and I am completing a hands-on assisting apprenticeship with Alex Bauermeister. I approach my instruction as an invitation, with an emphasis that folks on their mat listen to their body's desires above all else. I am humble to the complexity and responsibility of what it means to be at the front of the class, and I’m grateful for any opportunity to continue to develop on this journey of becoming.
